Montana Landscape



I lived in Missoula, Montana for 45 years before I moved to Kentucky and now Chicagoland. Lately, I have been homesick for my home state. I have been trying my hand at making a 4'x5' landscape of my beautiful Montana.
This is the largest landscape I have attempted. I am like'n the way its looking but it diffently is taking longer to make than my art postcards.

    Hi Deb, I like to make landscape quilts also. Visited Missoula several years ago for a family reunion- LOVE LOVE LOVE those mountains! It must be weird, though, to live in a "bowl." The craft market downtown was really neat. Interesting blog- thanks for sharing thoughts and art! Hugs,
