My rambles of thoughts are like my art: always on going projects. But what would life be if there were no projects? I hope my studio is like the majority of fiber artists.....a MESS! I would hate to think I am so different than my crafty friends.
LANDSCAPE PRACTISE
I have a landscape
exchange
in one of my
groups,
PostCardMailArt.
I enjoy creating landscapes.
I experiment using different
medias such as paint and glues,.
Even ribbons, silks, yarns or
an pop bottle cap
painted yellow used
for the sun.
FALL TREE IN THE SPRING
BLACK & WHITE POSTCARDS
My postcard group, PostCardMailArt, was having a black&white challenge. I had never attempted a landscape in b&w and thought it would be fun to merge all the shades and see what I could come up with. I am very pleased with myself. I think they came out beautiful. What you think?
Next I tried creating a
few magnolias. I love the smell of the magnolia tree.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ME!
I have a wonderful daughter-in-law named Annie.
My son, Jim, Annie and our first grandbaby live
in Montana and Dave and I live in Chicagoland.
Our houses are too far apart to "pop" in for a
cup of coffee.(Just an excuse to hug my grandbaby.)
Annie always thinks of me by sending pictures
frequently of my first grandbaby Rylan.
MONTANA ON MY MIND
My thoughts are on Montana.
I will be going for a visit very soon.
I wasn't homesick until the plane tickets
were purchased and now... the end of the month
seems so far away!
This is a landscape that I created during another homesick period a couple years ago. I just couldn't stop with mountains, lake and sky. I needed to embellish with an imaginary flowering aspen tree.
I lovingly named my landscape
"Montana Sunflowers."
